ROD MACEACHEN

Rod MacEachen is a 1972 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH. Following his father into the real estate business, Rod MacEachen began his local real estate career in 1972 as an Industrial real estate specialist servicing Greater Cincinnati. In 1980, Rod was the first hire for CBRE’s Cincinnati office and in 1984 Rod left CBRE to start MacEachen Realty, a boutique Industrial and Investment Real Estate firm. In 2004, after 20 years as a perennial Top Producer in the Industrial Real Estate community with hundreds of millions in closed transactions, and multiple real estate cycles, Rod made a return to CBRE to lead the Industrial sales and leasing team.

Several years later, Rod’s son Roddy joined the team at CBRE and firm established the family tradition of Top Producing Industrial real estate sale and leasing. In 2014, Rod and team left CBRE to create a new boutique real estate firm; SqFt Commercial.

Roddy MacEachen is a 2010 University of Cincinnati graduate from the School of Business in Real Estate. After a brief financial sales position, Roddy decided to become the third generation of MacEachen’s in Real Estate. CBRE hired Roddy in 2012 to join the industrial sales and leasing team with his father, Rod MacEachen. Roddy was instantly named a “Rising Star” by the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors for his performance that year and continued by achieving “Top Producer” status as defined the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors each year thereafter. In 2014, Roddy and the team left CBRE to start SqFt Commercial.

Roddy focuses on the Tenant or Buyer representation for SqFt Commercial. Roddy is consistently praised by clients for his market knowledge, immediate responsiveness, and commitment to client service. Roddy’s client service is further illustrated by the repeat business and referrals received on a regular basis.

Jared Wagoner graduated in 2011 from Butler University in Indianapolis with a degree in finance. Upon graduation, Jared moved to Cincinnati and began working at Fifth Third Bank in the Investment Advisor Line. As an esteemed graduate of the 5/3rd Investment Advisors Leadership Program, Jared primarily focused on High Net Worth private banking transactions. This experience shaped the nuanced personal touch and razor sharp market instinct Jared delivers when representing clients. Rounding out his tenure at 5/3rd, Jared was a Top Performer in 2016 and joined SqFt Commercial that same year.

Providing top-tier client service at SqFt, Jared is an integral part of the team with his knowledge of the area and prophetic ability to anticipate the market and make take quick actions for our clients. Jared will build upon his strong local network to focus on new business development, general brokerage, and investment transactions for SqFt Commercial. Jared is licensed in OHIO and KENTUCKY. Jared and his wife Janna live in the Mt. Lookout/Columbia Tusculum area. Jared is from Vincennes, IN and Janna is from Pittsburgh, PA, but they now proudly call Cincinnati home.

Travis joined SqFt Commercial in 2018 after getting his start in the commercial real estate industry at Newmark Knight Frank (NKF). While at NKF he was part of the industrial team, where he worked on a wide variety of industrial transactions, including the 2017 NAIOP Industrial Deal of the Year. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (UC) Linder College of Business, where he earned the honor of graduating summa cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in finance and real estate. While at UC, Travis earned numerous awards and scholarships, including the Outstanding Student in Real Estate award. Currently, Travis is forging a successful new path for SqFt by focusing on retail business development. Having established relationships with investors of household name brands and business owners of corporations throughout Southwestern Ohio, Travis continues to delver trusted and timely results to our clients, exceeding their expectations.

AMY CASTANEDA

Before managing a breadth of projects for SqFt Commercial, Amy honed her skills in various industries such as higher education at Northwestern University and executive retail at Lucy Activewear after earning a B.S. degree in Health Promotion, Fitness Management and Physical Education. Her keen eye for detail and exceptional project management skills keeps our Industrial Databases and Listing Systems running efficiently and up to date with real time information. Managing SqFt’s intricate financial records and reporting, she keeps the systems moving with accurate and informative data. Amy’s ability to pivot and anticipate gives SqFt an advantage over all other brokers in the area.

Amy lives with her husband and two wonderful daughters, and manages to somehow squeeze in exercising, hiking, or dinner with friends and family. When not spearheading special projects or spending time with her daughters, she can be found relaxing with a good book.

After spending nearly a decade working in corporate and mortgage finance, Alecia took the opportunity to change lanes and follow her passion for Information Technology and Operations Security. With a knack for all things digital and digesting data, her skillset lends superior client servicing with real-time information and clear risk mitigation. Applying her communication skills to curating engaging material that converts clicks into clients, she spearheads the day-to-day operations of the digital space for SqFt Commercial – from database development to animation and video editing.

Alecia obtained her Federal Mortgage Loan Originator license while still in high school, and soon graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and business management. Alecia resides within the Queen City and when not hounding the team about IT compliance & best practices, she is likely tearing apart something electronic to learn its inner-workings, or wrenching on a project car.
